Using the site

Reporting and satire

Reporting is based on sources available at publication time and may be corrected as facts develop. Satire and comedy articles are labelled and are not factual reports. Nothing on this site is legal, financial, medical or employment advice.

Your submissions

You keep ownership of original text and images you submit. By submitting them, you confirm you have the right to provide them and grant The Daily Unemployed a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to review, edit, crop, store, publish, display and promote them in connection with the publication. You must provide an accurate image credit and may not upload an unrelated, deceptive or infringing image. We may reject, edit, unpublish or archive material at editorial discretion. A username is a byline, not verified identity.

Comments

Comments may be automatically filtered and manually removed. Do not post threats, hate, harassment, doxxing, spam, sexual exploitation material, copyright infringement or personal information without permission. See the Community Guidelines.

Third-party material

Articles may link to outside platforms. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. A link or embedded reference does not mean we endorse everything on that service.

Availability and liability

The site is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every item is error-free, and we are not liable for indirect loss arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
