VALORANT creators can now apply directly for Riot Games’ redesigned partner programme, ending a long period in which entry was largely closed while the company rebuilt its creator system. Riot’s published schedule opened the VALORANT window on August 3 and closes it on August 28, 2026.
The application lives in Riot’s Creator Hub. Riot says successful partners may receive creator-focused support including unlocked Agents, giveaway codes, complimentary battle passes, dedicated player support and access to campaigns, Drops, marketing opportunities or early content. The wording matters: those are programme benefits and possible opportunities, not a promise that every accepted creator receives every campaign.
The company is staggering applications rather than opening one giant form. League of Legends is scheduled for September, while Teamfight Tactics runs from October 1 to October 30. Riot also says this will not be the only opportunity for creators who are still building an audience or who are not selected in the first intake.
For smaller creators, the most important change is procedural. There is now a public application route instead of a vague instruction to be noticed. That does not make the programme automatic or remove selection, but it gives applicants a concrete deadline and a place to present their work. Creators should use the official hub rather than links circulated in private messages; partner-program openings are predictable bait for impersonation and phishing.
Applicants should prepare examples that show a consistent audience, clear editorial identity and a record of following Riot’s rules. Riot’s announcement does not publish a universal follower threshold in the article, so any number being passed around without a current official eligibility page should be treated as unconfirmed.
Confirmed: the VALORANT application window is August 3–28, followed by League in September and TFT in October; the programme advertises creator tools, support and possible campaign access. Not confirmed: acceptance rates, a single global follower requirement, or guaranteed commercial work for accepted applicants.
